The above course will run for 30 weeks at
the Emmanuel Methodist Church on Huddersfield Road in Barnsley. The fee for the course is £180
per delegate.
The course will be pitched at a level of difficulty comparable to GCSE Ordinary Level.
All four skills will be covered, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
The following is a general outline of the programme.
Grammatically, the emphasis will be on the full range of verb tenses.
The main subject areas will include:
Personal information and daily life
Travel and transport
Food and drink
Discovery a locality
This is consolidate work previously covered as well as taking learners to a high level of understanding of Spanish. The subject matter will be pitched at a higher level than previously encountered, although the topics will be familiar from beginner's level.
A selection of previous GCSE examination questions will allow learners to assess their understanding.
A selection of Hispanic poetry and music will be included.
The course will start on Thursday 13th September 2007 at 18.15 for 90 minutes.
