Evening Classes - Spanish Advanced

The above course will run for 30 weeks at the Emmanuel Methodist Church on Huddersfield Road in Barnsley. 

The fee for the course is £200 per delegate with a £50 deposit payable in advance.

All four skills will be covered, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Grammatically the emphasis will be on the subjunctive mood as well as the revision of the full range of verb tenses.

The main subject areas will include:

                            Food and drink

                            Extracts from Spanish history

                            The cities and Latin American contemporary politics

                            Indoor and outdoor leisure activities.

It is not necessary to have prior understanding of the topic areas, they are intended as vehicles for language learning.

A variety of materials from GCSE - O Level, A Level and degree level past examination papers will allow learners to assess their skills.

A variety of real materials form Spanish newspapers and websites will be presented to maintain an up to date understanding of the Hispanic world.

A selection of Hispanic poetry and music will be included.

The course will start on Thursday 15th September 2011 at 18.30 - 20.00
